"I think I've learned more in the last two years than I have in my whole life," says Lillix's Tasha-Ray Evin. It was all of these life lessons and experiences that inspired the songs on the band's long-awaited sophomore album, Inside The Hollow (in stores now).
Now, Tasha-Ray, along with her bandmates Lacey-Lee Evin, Louise Burns and Alicia Warrington want to share their thoughts with their fans through an exclusive FASHION18 blog.
Check back to fashion18.com every Thursday to see what the girls have to say on everything from how to start your own band to their favourite fashion and beauty tips.

Hey there! My name is Tasha Evin. I live in a small town called Cranbrook in British Columbia. I am a songwriter/guitarist/vocalist and I play in a band called Lillix.
I turned 21 in June and all of a sudden I feel that life just started getting really serious. I have to start making life decisions that determine my destiny, like who I will marry, what I am going to do with my career and where I will live. What do I really want in life? I don’t have a straightforward answer to this question right now. It’s kind of like asking a 10-year-old what she wants for Christmas in five years... You don’t even know what you want that year, let alone in five years! It scares me.
I just want to do what’s right. Are these decisions really going to determine whether or not I am going to be happy in the future? If that is the case, then I am terrified of doing something wrong. But you have to “learn from your mistakes.” OK then, should I be embracing my mistakes now?
One thing I do know is that I need to trust myself more. I am the only one who knows what I like and what I want. I just have to go with my gut. Yeah, but what if your gut feels like throwing up sometimes? It’s easier said than done. Sometimes I wish I could just look into a crystal ball, but hey, what’s the fun in that? In conclusion, I really don’t need to worry about it. Deep down I know things have already been taken care of. Everything happens for a reason, right?

I totally get were you are coming from, and i have been fretting over it for a while - as my college are presuring me into choosing a university etc.
it is nice to know that somebody else feels the same, and that everybody doesn't know exactly what they want!
hope you figure stuff out soon! sure everything will go fine!
