My Super Ex-Girlfriend

My Super Ex-Girlfriend

Breaking up is hard to do, but sometimes it can be downright dangerous.

My Super Ex-Girlfriend (20th Century Fox)

If you’ve ever been through a breakup you won’t want to miss this hilarious movie. Uma Thurman plays superhero G-Girl who plots revenge on her boyfriend Matt Sanders (Luke Wilson) after he tries to break up with her.

By day, G-Girl’s alter ego is Jenny Johnston, an awkward yet beautiful art gallery curator whom Matt meets on the subway. Shortly after Jenny reveals her secret of moonlighting as a superhero she becomes jealous, controlling and possessive of her relationship with Matt.

When her jealous actions become too much for Matt to handle, he decides it’s time to call things off with Jenny. But how do you break up with a superhero? Hell hath no fury like a superhero scorned! As Matt tries to move on, Jenny pulls out all the stops using her superhuman abilities to spy on him, steal his car and make his life as miserable as possible.

Prepare yourself for some great laughs. While Jenny might be a little neurotic at times, you can’t help but cheer her on. Any girl who has ever been through a breakup will wish she had the powers of G-Girl to help her move on.
