Outkast duo delivers new album and film.

Outkast returns with a new album, Idlewild (LaFace/Sony BMG), alongside a big-screen film of the same name and featuring Outkast duo André “3000” Benjamin and Antwan “Big Boi” Patton. Set in 1930s rural Georgia, the film follows its two lead characters, Percival (André 3000) and Rooster (Big Boi), through intersecting stories of love and ambition, in a story fueled by non-stop action, music and show-stopping dance numbers. The Idlewild album is a blend of tracks that fuse Outkast’s legendary hip hop with the film’s old-school blues and swing vibe.
